The Subaru Twin Turbo system is a bit of a black art and few people really understand what’s going on, but there are a few little tweaks and mods that can be done to make it all a bit better.
We went away for a long weekend, and of course we HAD to take the S401 for a decent shakedown after the work I did.

The last thing left in my maintenance overhaul of the S401 was to do the oils for the transmission and differential. I decided to take advantage of having access to a hoist and decent tools whilst at work today, and changed them.
Well its been 8 days now since the car was delivered. Whats the verdict?
According to the sticker on the windscreen, the car wasnt due for another oil change for another 1000km or so….
I must be a sucker for punishment, but hey, I’m getting really good at doing the plugs on the Legacy.
